Here is table cloth #2 which I did for a friend, it took over 200 hours of work. I think I jused size 20 ecru thread. I have to ask my son if he knows where the one I made for him is so I can get a picture. I have also made one each for both of my duaghters. I have pictures of the last one I did, which is one of the ones I made for my daughter but I wanted to post pictures in order that they were made and my sons was the third one.
Thanks for looking at my stuff.
I am so close to 500 hits, hope to pass that mark today.

ReplyDeletethanks again
ReplyDeleteWow! Thank you for sharing. Very inspiring to think of making tablecloths. I cannot imagine accomplishing such a large project. Time to challenge myself and do something larger than I have in the past. I typically make snowflakes, bookmarks or jewelry.
ReplyDeletethat's phenomenal. Did you use a pattern?
ReplyDeleteno pattern, as I tatted one round I could see what the next should look like. This was done many years ago, if I did one now it would look very different because I have learned so much since then. And I think if I did one now I would not be afraid to do smaller motifs to compose a round but I also would rather do snowflakes, bookmarks and jewelry, things that I can see quick results and that I don't have to worry about getting dirty as I am working on them.
DeleteGorgeous table cloth! Such marvelous work. I started a table cloth years ago - it ended only being about 24 inches across. I commend you on doing more than one!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! Much larger than anything I have attempted...
